Welcome to My Mommy Blog

Now that I've said hello to the virtual world of blogging, it's time to introduce myself. For now, I will go by 'hybridmommy'. Since this is a new platform of parenting technique for me, I will try my best to stick to my truth because that is why we are all here reading this blog in the first place. Honesty and breaking down the walls of the highly sought after elite social status through various social media platforms and showing my bare naked truths is honestly going to be quite difficult. Showing people your real life experiences makes you extremely vulnerable to criticism. However, I am wanting to achieve a sense of comfort through writing my personal learning of parenting as a single mom, trying my hardest to be a mother and a father to my amazing daughter.

Bio

I was born and raised in a small rural town in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains. From a young age I was very spirited and enthusiastic and loved having all the attention from my parents, sibling and friends. I did not mind the spotlight. I took to creative arts and dappled in many avenues of artistic exploration that helped develop who I am today. Positive and negative life experiences ultimately shaped who I am as a person and how I manage my own household and raising my daughter.

I always dreamed of being a mother and how that was going to be my main purpose in life. As that dream has come to fruition I realize that I was understandably naive when it came to being a mother, especially a single mother. Never in my dream was I supposed to be on this journey alone. However, the cards have been dealt and I have devoted all aspects of my life to take care of, unconditionally love and parent this incredibly remarkable little girl.
